Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery

A few weeks ago I wrote a post about how another seller of Westvleteren was wildly throwing around false accusations about me selling non authentic beer. After writing this post the accusations were quickly removed, but the screenshots are still available at the bottom of this page

Some of his own Facebook fans questioned his reasons for making these accusations after noticing I offered much better deals compared to his widely overinflated prices.

Today I’m happy to announce that our good friend has launched a new website! While it certainly looks like he’s doing his best, he’s also blindly copying content from other websites and making himself guilty of copyright infringment.

In the screenshots below you can see that most of his FAQ page has been copied word for word from my own site.

The description of some his products were copied word for word from the website.

In accordance with good practise, his website provider was alerted today of this copyright infringement.

Finally I would like to say that while everyong is free to do business with whomever they please, it would also be wise to use any information available to evaluate the person you are doing business with. Especially when you’re ordering expensive items and perhaps from the other side of the world - disappointing experiences are still far too frequent.
